Pasta Sauces

Okay, I've decided to come up with my own recipes cos Google just ain't helping me out here!

Red Sauce
tomatoes, heaps of them
basil
parsley
one small onion
olive oil
squeeze of lemon juice
salt
ground pepper corns

Chop up the tomatoes and the onion. Cook the onions in the olive oil in a frying pan until clear. Shred the herbs. Put everything into a food processor and whiz! Keep the texture a little lumpy though. We don't want soup!

Green Sauce
basil
parsley, any other green herbs you enjoy!
toasted pine nuts
baby spinach
olive oil
salt

Place all the ingredients in a food processor and, well, process! Add more oil as needed to make the sauce smooth.
Add ricotta or crumbled fetta if you wish!

Creamy Sauce
fresh cream (duh)
olive oil
small onion, chopped very finely
bacon, chopped finely and cooked until crisp
pepper
parsley

Saute the onions and brown up the bacon in a frying pan. Pour in the cream and simmer til heated. Mix through some finely chopped parsley and sprinkle on some pepper. Add salt if needed, but the bacon should make up for that.

Pour the sauces over fresh bowls of hot pasta and enjoy!

Oh and add minced garlic to all of these recipes for extra yumminess!
